We thank you all the authors for submitting their sound pieces to the Helicotrema festival 2019 open call.
Listening to all the participating contributions and getting to know so many interesting researches has been a wonderful experience and we look forward to making this happen again next year.
The sound pieces that have been selected to be included in the Helicotrema festival are those by Enrico Boccioletti, Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle, Zuriñe F Gerenabarrena, Islands Songs (Nicolas Perret and Silvia Ploner), Lorena Mal, Mia Thom.
The six selected works will be included in the program of the 2019 edition of the festival.
Furthermore, a special internet listening session will be presented on the Helicotrema website, featuring works by: Alberto Cattani, Naomi Credé, Catching Shadows, Interlingua (Francesco Fonassi and Francesco Venturi), Valentino Russo, Riccardo Santalucia and Gaia Ginevra Giorgi, Elisa Strinna.
The selection was made, after listening to all the submitted pieces, by Blauer Hase and Giulia Morucchio (curators of the festival), together with Michele Lori, Gaia Martino, Roberta Pagani (curators/researchers at Standards, Milano).
